Newbold Chapel Cafe

Simply come along and enjoy a freshly cooked meal with us! The building is now fully accessible and there is so much happening.

There are lots of volunteering opportunities in the Cafe as well as for Little Stars toddler group.

Lunches happen every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 12.30-2.00pm.

The Chapel at Newbold offers a place where people can eat a freshly cooked meal affordably, socially and for environmental benefit. Bring the family or come yourself to enjoy a fresh, hot, healthy meal for a suggested donation of £3.00 . If you can't afford to pay for a meal then just come along and volunteer with us and eat for free!

Every year in the UK 340,000 tonnes of surplus food is produced by the food industry, of which only 2 per cent is redistributed - the rest goes to landfill or is used in animal feed.

Why not learn some new skills at the same time? There are opportunities for skill-based volunteering in all sorts of ways around food production, preparation, food hygiene and project management.

Every menu will be based on fresh surplus food available locally. The menu will be displayed in the Newbold Chapel Cafe.
